Quantum Passivhaus is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to support our expanding portfolio of high-performance residential, commercial, and deep energy retrofit projects. Since 2017, we have delivered advanced panelized solutions that combine modern prefabrication with leading building-science practices. Position Summary
The Sales Representative drives revenue growth at Quantum Passivhaus by building strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and guiding customers from initial inquiry through project initiation while educating them on our high-performance building solutions.

Success requires strong communication skills, technical curiosity, proactive sales initiative, and collaboration with internal teams while upholding professionalism and alignment with Quantum Passivhaus’ mission.

Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
  • Experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or sustainable building is an asset.

Skills
  • Understanding of building-science fundamentals (air tightness, thermal envelopes, ventilation, moisture control) preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent organization, lead management, and follow-up discipline.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to deepen knowledge of high-performance construction.

  • Ability to read or interpret basic architectural or construction drawings (an asset).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales, Client Engagement & Education
  • Sell and promote Quantum Passivhaus’ high-performance building solutions across Residential, Multi-Residential, Commercial, and Retrofit markets.

  • Educate clients on airtight construction, Passive House principles, sustainable building practices, and Quantum’s panelized building system.

  • Prospect new clients by understanding their needs, budgets, project goals, and timelines while responding promptly to inquiries.
Business Development & Market Positioning
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted market research, outreach, and relationship building.

  • Analyze competitor offerings and identify unique differentiators to strengthen Quantum’s competitive position.

  • Stay current with industry trends, building-science advancements, and competitor activities to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
Proposals, Estimating & Sales Administration
  • Prepare customized proposals, project estimates, and supporting documents based on client requirements.

  • Participate in competitive online bidding processes and prepare submission materials for tenders.

  • Track and report on sales activities, including lead generation, pipeline status, follow-up actions, and conversion metrics.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and proactive account management.

  • Manage client expectations throughout the sales, design, budgeting, and construction phases to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
Internal Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure client requirements are accurately captured and integrated into project plans.

  • Support new sales initiatives such as retrofit programs, pre-designed model homes, and emerging product lines.

  • Work with the marketing team to support campaigns, promotional activities, and customer engagement efforts.
Industry Representation
  • Represent Quantum Passivhaus at tradeshows, conferences, networking events, and other industry functions.

  • Establish a strong professional presence as a knowledgeable ambassador of Quantum’s brand and values.
