KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Tasks
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools used in framing
- Assist with inventory management and store materials safely
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and maintaining safety
- Set up and maintain tools, equipment, and workstations
- Perform physical labor including lifting and material preparation
- Assist with daily site clean-up and end-of-shift organization
Assembly Assistance
- Support skilled carpenters and framers with assembling prefabricated components
- Aid in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials according to specifications
Tool & Equipment Maintenance
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition
- Follow safety procedures when operating power tools or machinery
Safety & Compliance
- Follow workplace safety regulations, policies, and protocols
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions as required
Learning & Development
- Take initiative to learn machinery, framing techniques, and construction processes
- Seek guidance from experienced team members to build skills and knowledge
Work Environment
- Fast-paced framing and construction setting
- Combination of indoor and outdoor tasks requiring physical activity
