QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & BENEFITS

Experience
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift materials in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and carpentry techniques
  • Familiarity with WHMIS and power tool safety (Forklift or First Aid certifications are an asset)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Assembly
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood components for wall, floor, and roof systems
  • Operate semi-automated jig tables, flip tables, and production machinery safely
  • Apply sheathing, insulation, and weather-protective membranes
  • Use pneumatic nailers and standard power tools with precision
Quality & Logistics
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet project specifications
  • Load, unload, and organize materials to maintain efficient workflow
  • Occasionally assist with panel installation at job sites
Safety & Teamwork
  • Follow OHSA regulations and maintain tools in safe working condition
  • Communicate with the Production Supervisor and support teammates to meet deadlines
Learning & Development
  • Take initiative to learn machinery, framing techniques, and construction processes
  • Seek guidance from experienced team members to build skills and knowledge
